Pre-season Football Info days March 13th & 21st

Info Days & Grading

Western United Affiliated Football Club have two Information & Grading days on March 13th & 21st from 9am.

The info days are a chance to have a kick around where children, aged four years and above, have the opportunity to experience football first hand. Parents/ caregivers can ask committee members & other parents questions about the First Kicks, Football Fun, & Mini Football programmes. 

Grading is for players in 9th grade and above (typically 9yrs & above) are will take place on the same days as the info sessions.  The times will be available on the facebook page & website soon.

First Kicks 4 and 6 year olds: First Kicks games are 1 hour skills season and games at Bremworth Park on Saturday mornings from 8.30 till 10am. There is one practice during the week on a Wednesday or Thursday evening. 

The focus of first Kicks is Individual ball skills, it's all about having fun, being with and making new friends. 

Fun Football 7 and 8 year olds: Fun Football is played in Hamilton and surrounding Waikato towns. Games last 1 hour each Saturday. Practice is held at Bremworth Park on a Wednesday or Thursday evening. 

The focus of Fun Football is individual ball Skills, having fun with your friends and making new ones. 

Mini Football 9 and 10 year old: Mini Football is played in Hamilton and surrounding towns. These games last 50 mins for 9th and 10th Grade, 60 mins for 11th and up. Practice held at Bremworth park on Wednesday or Thursday evening. 

Games starts the first weekend of Term 2 . With no games held during school or on Stat Holidays.

If your child is 9th Grade or below Western United will do their best to put the players into school teams. Players 10th Grade and up are graded, this means they will be playing with team members of similar abilities from different schools.
